Sci-Val is an invaluable, comprehensive database to search for open funding opportunities. You can access it through the Marriott Library webpage or through this link.

If you are interested in learning more about corporate or foundation funding opportunities, we recommend you contact someone in the "Corporate and Foundation Relations" office at the U.  Set up an appointment and tell them your research ideas, so they can help you identify possible foundations, nationally or locally.

This link provides potentially relevant and currently available funding opportunity announcements from NIH and NSF, sorted by keyword.  The list was pulled in October 2017.

Here are the instructions to get on the listserv to receive a weekly message from NIH.
You may want to check out this article if you have unfunded proposals laying around.  It describes a matchmaking service for NIH rejects.... 😕

For those interested in training and career development mechanisms, this link describes some of the ones available from NIH and NSF.  Students may also want to check out the fellowships available from the University of Utah Graduate School.
